Brave Parents & Guardians:
Here are the latest bathroom findings. Two were found in the boys's restroom & one in the girl's.
Please talk to your kiddos. Help us help them. They are buying them online, from peers, from adults, from local stores. Please ask questions.

Parents & guardians-please help us ensure that students are appropriately dressed for school.
Spring is in the air and it is time for a dress code reminder.
Here are the most common infractions & ones we have already seen this week:
*Clothes shall be sufficient to conceal undergarments at all times. See-through or fish-net fabrics halter tops, off-the-shoulder or low-cut tops, bare midriffs and skirts or shorts shorter than mid-thigh are prohibited. No lingerie or look-alike lingerie allowed.
*Skin tight pants or shorts are not appropriate for general school wear.
*Gym shorts may not be worn in class other than physical education.
*Clothing, jewelry shall be free of writing, pictures or any other insignia which are crude, vulgar, profane or sexually suggestive or which advocate racial, ethnic or religious prejudice or the use of drugs, alcohol or tobacco.
The first infraction is a warning, a call home and clothing must be changed. The second infraction and beyond is a detention, a call home and a change of clothing. Repeat offenders will receive a Saturday School.

MHS Families: Please help us keep our kiddos safe. It seems some of our students have forgotten how to safely cross the street. Please remind them to get off their phones, look both ways, and pay attention to traffic. See below for a message from Superintendent Lewis. https://bit.ly/3OFMfc5

Hello!
Senior Parents — please remind your student to log into Google Classroom and complete the Sober Grad RSVP form as soon as possible.
The Project Grad Committee has planned a fun and safe celebration for graduates immediately following graduation, and we want to make sure everyone who plans to attend is accounted for. The event will include activities, music, prizes, and more for those who participate.
Encourage your senior to submit their RSVP so we can celebrate this milestone together!

Senior Parents! (C/O 2026)
This is a reminder that the Project Grad meeting is tonight at 5:30 PM in the Brass Rail Small Banquet Room.
We will begin planning for the Sober Grad Party, and we really need as many parents as possible to attend. Your help and participation are essential in giving our seniors a safe and memorable send-off.
We hope to see you there!

🎉 Welcome back, students! We are excited to see everyone back on campus tomorrow and ready for a strong finish to the year! 📚✨The tardy bell rings at 8:05 AM! ☀️
Please note that the MHS Open House and final parent meeting of the year are being rescheduled. A new date will be shared soon. 🗓️
When we meet, this will be an important time to discuss your student’s progress, celebrate strengths, and talk through “do-betters” as we head into the final stretch. 💬💪 The parent meeting will also focus on end-of-year activities and expectations. ✅🎓
We will also include an Admin Q&A session with Mr. Hughes and Mrs. B as part of Open House. 🎤
And a quick note to each class:
🎓 Seniors — What legacy do you want to leave behind at MHS?
🔥 Juniors — What tone do you want to set for your SENIOR year?
⭐ Sophomores — How will you step up and set the standard for the classes behind you?
🌱 Freshmen — How will you grow, get involved, and make a positive impression at MHS?
Modoc-Thank you for your continued support of our students and school community! 💜🤍💜🤍💜🤍

Champions! 🏆
Your Modoc Boys are the winners of the 1st Annual Spring Breakout Tournament!
The Braves battled through more rain than shine and came out on top with wins over Mazama, Loyalton, Burney, and Henley. What a run, what a team, and what a way to represent Modoc.
Coach Lewis and his coaching staff are incredibly thankful for our parents, community, supporters, and volunteers who helped make this tournament a reality.
Well done, Braves! 💜
